Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) Full-Day Virtual Course
Course Overview
This full-day virtual training equips staff in Long-Term Care and Retirement Home settings with essential knowledge and hands-on strategies to support older adults—particularly those living with dementia—who exhibit responsive behaviors. Rooted in the principles of person-centered care, the Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) promotes non-pharmacological, compassionate interventions that reduce distress, preserve dignity, and enhance resident wellbeing.
